Sathyarajkumar (சத்யராஜ்குமார்) is a writer in Tamil language who started publishing his work in all popular Tamil magazines
right from the age of 19. He continued to write short stories and novels in magazines like
Savi, Kumudam, Vikatan, Kalki, Kalimagal, Idhayam, Amutha Surabhi, Dinamani Kathir, Thai, Mona, Malaimathi, etc when he was
doing his Bachelors in Engineering. He has bagged many prestigious awards from magazines like Kalki, Kalaimagal, Vikatan, Savi and organizations
like Ilakkiya Sinthanai. After he moved to America, though he is not actively writing in magazines,
time to time he writes in e-zines like Tamiloviam, in his blog and website. His Americanized short stories are popular
among Tamil internet community, collection of those stories are available as e-book in Kindle and iPad. He has last published his work in Kumudam dated 20 Apr 2016,
a short story awarded in a competition held by the magazine.
He has recently entered into film industry by writing story & screen play for an upcoming Tamil feature film Parandhu Sella Vaa produced by 8 Point Entertainment, Singapore, directed by Dhanapal Padmanabhan ( the director of Krishnaveni Panchaalai).

His short story Ulkaayam won second prize in Amarar Kalki Memorial Short Story Competition 1996 in Kalki Weekly - 07-08-1996
His short story Maiyavilakku won a prize in Uraiyaadal Samooga Kalai Ilakkiya Amaippu.
He has received Ilakkiya Sindhanai award on 25th year of that organization for one of his short story published in Kalki. This story is part of the curriculam in some of the Universities and Institutions
